DearCat helps you turn cat photos into AI-generated artwork. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, when we share it, and the choices you have when you use DearCat at dearcat.app.

• Account information, including your name, email address, profile image, and similar information provided through sign-in providers or account settings.
• Content you upload or create, including cat photos, generation settings, support messages, and generated images.
• Usage and device information, such as browser type, device type, approximate location, IP address, viewed pages, referring pages, and diagnostic data.
• Limited payment information from payment processors, such as payment status, billing country, or transaction identifiers. We do not store full payment card numbers ourselves.
• Cookies and similar technologies for authentication, security, analytics, and remembering preferences.

• Provide, maintain, and improve DearCat.
• Authenticate users and secure accounts.
• Process purchases, credits, refunds, and fraud checks.
• Generate requested AI outputs and store them so you can access them later.

• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.

Uploaded photos and generation settings may be processed by third-party AI, hosting, storage, authentication, analytics, and payment providers acting on our behalf. We may retain uploads and generated images so you can view, download, or manage them inside your account.

To help keep DearCat safe, we may use third-party content safety services, including OpenAI Moderation API, to review uploaded photos and generated images for unsafe or prohibited content. By default, OpenAI does not use data submitted through its API to train its models unless the API customer opts in. For details, see OpenAI's data usage policy.

• With payment, analytics, cloud, storage, customer support, and authentication providers.
• When required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets.

We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect data, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.

You can stop using DearCat at any time. You may also contact us if you want help accessing, correcting, or deleting your account information, subject to legal and operational limits. Most browsers also let you manage cookies through their settings.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the policy text as needed to reflect the current service.
